Expansion Slots
An expansion slot is an expansion slot located on the inside of the computer on the motherboard that allows additional boards to be attached and connected to it. The expansion slots take the input and send it to the bus lines. Expansion slots for PCs come in two basic sizes: half and full-size.
Bus Lines
Bus lines are used to connect two or more devices to a computer. They are located in the motherboard and connect the components to each other. The bus lines send the information around the motherboard. There are different heads for the bus lines to fit different ports.
Input & Output Ports
Input and output ports allows the software drivers to communicate with the hardware devices on the computer. Input and output ports are ports in which you place bus lines to send information to and from the computer. The different types of ports are the different classifications of input and output ports.
