The Central Processing Unit
The Central Processing Unit is responsible for interpreting and executing most of the commands from a computer’s hardware and software- the CPU could be considered the brain of a computer. A modern CPU is small and square, with metallic connectors on its side. It is attached directly onto a CPU slot.
